Question #4

Describe how one of the three religion’s views of Jesus reflects their ideology.

  1. Judaism believes that Jesus was a false profit and they don't fully accept him as the Messiah. It reflects their ideology because Jews don't accept anything that they don't on a majority know is a fact and they don't like to change rules such as Paul and the baptism/circumcision etc. As if they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah they simply just won't accept it

  2. Good start Amber, I think touching on the fact that Judaism is very resistant to change is an important point to make. Going further though, do you think that Judaism's view of Jesus also reflects other parts of their ideology, such as there strict definition of monotheism?

  3. Ya I think it definitely reflects their strict definition of monotheism, because the fact that they don't think of Jesus as the Messiah, shows that they only accept one God as their own and no one else can have any similar power near that. They admire and are strict on their monotheistic beliefs.
